Therapy Services

The Financial Psychology Center offers a variety of services to provide clients with the opportunity to better understand and adjust their money story. Our professional, licensed doctors and therapists are eater to assist you in growing your awareness around your personal or businesses money relationship. We provide individual and couples therapy in private practice offices located in Agoura Hills and in Woodland Hills as well as online video therapy for those clients who need support but cannot make appointments in person.

Individual Therapy
itting privately with a financial therapist allows one to fully express and share their real fears, anxieties and desires around money in a fully accepted and understanding environment. Once your deepest emotions are shared, individual sessions then allow you to explore your experience with family of origin, young adult and career financial stories to help you determine what you want your future to truly be and clear your emotional path to get there.
Couples Therapy
One of the most common causes of divorce or friction between couples is finding shared ways to manage money. While most people are operating off of their own historical money story, it becomes extremely difficult to meld two different money relationships into a single, harmonious one that the couple can operate successfully with. Our couples therapy focuses on money stories and helps partners understand each other’s experience with money so they can build a path to the future.
Group Therapy
After years of experience providing therapy in group settings, we have found that hearing others and sharing your story provides insight and acceptance to your own experience. This is particularly true in the area of finances, long considered taboo or shameful to discuss, may be brought into the light and troubling emotions  discarded..

Telehealth

While in person is always the preferred method for a client and therapist relationship, we have had great success providing online video therapy for those clients who need support but cannot make appointments in person. We use this method primarily for individual therapy sessions.
