As a practicing clinician for the past 15 years Dr Melkumian has worked with populations ranging from the chronically acute, dually diagnosed patients to highly motivated individuals committed to self-improvement. He is an author and public speaker who works to bring people harmony and ease in their lives, no matter what the issue. His experiences in the field have given him deep expertise in treating alcoholism and addiction, codependency, emotional disturbance, stress, self esteem, relationships, men’s issues, depression and anxiety.
Dr. Feldman is a board-certified psychiatrist who has been practicing in the Los Angeles area for 25 years. Currently, he is the medical director of three prestigious area hospitals, teaches third- and fourth-year medical students, internal medicine residents, and conducts clinical research trials.
Dr. Aaron Smith is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 30696) in Los Angeles who is passionate about working with athletes who are motivated to excel in multiple domains of their lives. In addition to providing assistance for those who are struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders, Dr. Aaron also collaborates with individuals to facilitate mental, emotional and physical congruence—resulting in a state of optimal performance. As a member of the Financial Psychology Center, Dr. Aaron empowers athletes to enhance their financial lives through increased self-awareness and relational support.
Karry Friedman is a LMFT and received a Juris Doctorate Degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. She has worked as a Clinical Therapist for over a decade with individuals struggling with depression and anxiety caused by financial stressors. Karry believes making logical financial decisions are prevented by one’s emotional barriers that extend far beyond their current situations.
In her law practice Karry focuses on financial mediation and helping couples communicate about their financial values to ultimately resolve issues of discord in an amicable way. Combining both her clinical and legal backgrounds has helped her to develop a unique expertise in the field of financial therapy.
Karry’s goal in providing financial therapy is to empower and motivate individuals to reach their full financial potential through addressing those psychological hurdles that impede their financial and emotional happiness. Exploring and recognizing emotions that lead to financial stressors is the key to finding ways to coping and overcoming those issues, which as a result leads to a decrease in Depression and Anxiety and improvement of interpersonal relationships.
Dr. Maxwell Rappoport is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY 29385) based in Los Angeles. His primary areas of interest are in athlete mental health, performance psychology, affective disorders, relationship and family concerns, and substance use disorders. Dr. Rappoport is driven by providing holistic support to athletes and clients in order to facilitate overall wellness, hardiness, and cognitive flexibility to adapt to internal and environmental stressors that seek to undermine peak performance and balance. Dr. Rappoport's approach is informed by cognitive-behavioral and psycho-dynamic perspectives, with rational-emotive insights and a foundation in mindfulness meditation.
Honey Dardashti is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who comes with experience of providing mental health services both at the community level as well as private practice for individuals from different walks of life. She has worked with services for individuals, couples, adolescents and children with variety of diagnoses as well as; individuals with history of substance use. Her expertise has been working with couples who struggle with establishing clear communication on the topics of sex, love and money. Honey has been devoted to empowering individuals and couples to improve their financial and mental health by illuminating the emotional ties between sex and money.
